Strong trade balance deficit for France

While Germany should record a trade surplus of around 253 billion euros in 2016, France’s trade balance deficit widened to 48.1 billion euros in the same year. It is 2.8 billion euros more than expected by the General Directorate of Customs and an increase of 2.4 billion euros compared to 2015.
