After 253 billion euros of trade surplus in 2016 and the world’s most profitable exporting economy, Germany breaks the nail with a budgetary surplus of almost 24 billion euros recorded during the same year. Faced with Greece and Italy in very serious condition and France, the second largest European economy, for whom the public deficit seems bottomless and for whom confidence from the financial markets has declined, Germany shows off a brilliant economic health. Why is Germany so strong? Because of its hard-working people, the quality of its work and very probably the euro as well. The “common” currency is apparently more optimized for the German economy than for others.
