US-China, one step back again

Things started to look better when officials from both sides said they’d like to build a fruitful mutual relationship between the United States and China. Against the backdrop however, the two countries’ leaders do have real disagreement over several significant issues. Alleged currency manipulation is the most central of them since tackling it may start a currency war that would probably be very detrimental to world trade. “I think they’re grand champions at manipulation of currency. So I haven’t held back. We’ll see what happens,” Trump said about China. Not a positive signal for global economy’s stability in 2017.
