10/22/2020 – The low score of Tesla (TSLA) has been interpreted as “severe” and “unfair” by some of our readers. That’s why Cyceon reminds you that it primarily focuses its data analysis on multi-year, long-term trends, therefore it can take several years for a company like Tesla to become mature enough and reach a score as high as Microsoft‘s or Clorox‘s today. Like you, we’ve seen and duly noted that there is a positive trend in earnings and FCF that has developed for about a year at Tesla, however it will have to confirm such a trend over several years if it hopes to reach the 25/30-point level someday. For now, given that the annualized average of the first three quarters of 2020 is $0,52 per share, Tesla’s PE is 823.65 with price at $435.
